Terri Jean Toalson

It is with unbearable sadness for the family of Terri Jean Toalson to announce the passing of their much loved sister, aunt, niece and friend to all. Terri went to be with her Lord and savior, Jesus Christ, on August 26, 2021, after a three-week battle with Covid. Terri was born to David Lee and Bertha (Bogle) Toalson on July 26, 1956. She lived in Ochelata all her life and was a life-long member and Sunday School teacher of the Ochelata Baptist Church. Terri had recently retired after 40+ years with AT&T and had many plans for enjoying her retirement. Terri is survived by two brothers, Stephen B. Toalson and his wife, Lisa of Ochelata, and David D. Toalson of Collinsville and sister-in-law Sue Toalson of Bartlesville. She will be greatly missed by her beloved nieces and one nephew, and their families, Stephanie and Adam Marsheck, Aiden, Noah and Naomi Marsheck of Ochelata, Jennifer Grissom, Reese, Lane and Sawyer Grissom of Ochelata, LeAnna and Mike Henson, Hayes and Adeline Jean of Ochelata, Elijah Toalson of Ochelata, Melissa Stith, Lorelie and Wyatt Stith of Tyler, Texas, Amber and Ricky Woods, Preslee, Payton, and Jaggar Woods of Piedmont, Oklahoma; aunt's, Linda, and husband, Gene Wiles of Ochelata, Betty Vincent of Bartlesville and a host of cousins and friends. She is preceded in death by her parents, David L. and Bertha J. Toalson; grandparents, Birdie and Tom Toalson; and grandparents, Gladys and James "Dutch" Bogle. Terri’s family will receive friends at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville, on Thursday, September 2, from 5-7 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Thursday from 10-8. Services will be held Friday, September 3, 2021, 10:00 am. at Ochelata Baptist Church with Pastor Brian Myers officiating. Pallbearers will be Dallas Smith, Christopher Smith, Johnny Joe Morgan, Clint Coker, Casey Lewis and Sean McIntosh. Honorary pallbearers are Jim Bob Askew and Bob Straley. Interment will follow in the Ochelata Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
