Ann Morrison

Ennis “Ann” Morrison – born on Aug. 6, 1948 to Charles and Daisy Winfrey. Ann grew up in Bluejacket, OK with her 14 siblings. She enjoyed school, especially her math and reading classes making her a very good student. Ann played sports through school including basketball and cheerleading. Ann attended NEO for a time before marrying and having her 2 children, Matt and Jennifer. Ann raised them in Meade, KS from 1977 to 1993 while working in banking and the county clerk's office as well as helping with girl and boy scouts. Ann married the love of her life, Richard "Dick” Morrison June 4th 1993. The couple resided in Hutchinson, KS for many years before retiring to a small farm in Sedgwick, KS to be closer to their children and grandchildren. They lived roughly 15 years happily on the farm enjoying horses, dogs, cats and the wildlife as well as their grandkids many activities. Ann is preceded in death by her parents and two oldest brothers, Richard and Tom Winfrey. Ann is survived by her husband of 30 years Richard Morrison of Bartlesville, OK, her son, Matt (Erika) Lillie of Asheville, NC, her daughter Jennifer (Jason) of Tulsa, OK, Richard’s 4 children, Cindy (Brad) Morris of Fort Worth, TX, Stu (Brandy) Morrison of Canton, OH, Cheri Morrison of Wichita, KS, and Scott Morrison of Bryon, IL. Also survived by their grandchildren, Lillie and Delaney Schlitz (Jennifer), Sam and Sophie Lillie (Matt), Kaitlyn Tyler and Nick Morris (Cindy), Lexi Hartman, Mathieu, Alysa, and Sophia Morrison (Scott) and 2 great grandchildren Trey and Andrew Tyler (Katelyn). Ann is also survived by her sister-in-law Mae (Tom) Winfrey and 12 siblings all residing in Oklahoma, Shirley (Larry) Dossman, Clem (Shirley) Winfrey, Gary Peggy) Winfrey, Sharon (John) Lay, Mike (Betty) Winfrey, Nancy (Greg) Brooks, Debbie (David) Davenport, Terry (Terry) Winfrey, Glen (Lisa) Winfrey, Rudy (Janet) Winfrey, Sonny (Jo) Winfrey and Randy (Candy) Winfrey. No formal services are planned. Arrangements are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home and Crematory Walker-Brown Chapel.
