Jerica Lynn Morehead

Jerica Lynn Morehead entered into the presence of the Lord on November 12, 2025. She passed suddenly yet peacefully in her sleep at home in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. Jerica was born to Marcia & Warren Wondercheck on January 25, 1986, in Atkinson, Nebraska. She graduated from West Holt High School in Atkinson Nebraska. She also received her Associates degree from Oklahoma Wesleyan University. On this side of eternity, she was a wonderful, loving wife to Ryan Morehead and had the biggest heart full of love for her daughter Adalynn Lee Morehead, age 8, her pride and joy. Ryan and Jerica fell in love and were married on December 12, 2010. They started their journey in Norfolk, Nebraska. Six years ago they felt the Lord's calling to move to Bartlesville, OK. They built a beautiful life together going for walks and drives, spending time with family and friends, playing cards and Mexican Train, inviting neighborhood kids in and reaching out in Jesus' love to so many. Jerica was a wonderful singer and loved to bake. She always made time to snuggle with Addy and always made sure her family was well taken care of. She would often get a wild hair every couple of years and decide to repaint her whole house without stopping before it was all done. Ryan was perfect for her as he was able to keep up with her shenanigans. Jerica was baptized in Amazing Grace Community Church where she served faithfully on the worship team, children's ministry, and marriage ministry. Jerica gave the best hugs to all who needed them. As a devoted follower of Christ, she was always watching and ready to encourage everyone around her. She truly lived out being the hands and feet of Jesus. Jerica is survived by her husband Ryan Morehead, her daughter, Adalynn Morehead, her mother and step-father, Marcia & Rod Wendell, her brothers and their families, Jeremiah Wondercheck, Jacob Wondercheck, Jordan Wondercheck, Josiah Wondercheck, her sister and her family, Jasmynn Gilger, her father and mother-in-law, Randy & Donna Morehead, her brother-in-law, Steven Morehead, nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. She was preceded in death by her father, Warren Wondercheck. We will never forget the love and joy she brought to our lives. She is now at peace in the arms of her Savior. The family would like to recognize the church family at Amazing Grace Community Church who have been a great support through this hard time. A memorial service will be held at 2pm, Friday, November 21st at Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory, 4201 Nowata Rd., Bartlesville. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home and Crematory Walker-Brown Chapel.
