Kendall Leon Francis

Kendall Leon Francis, 48, of Bartlesville, died Tuesday, March 26, 2024, in Tulsa. Kendall was born the son of Lealon and Edith Elaine (LaRue) Francis on October 30, 1975, in Tulsa, Ok. He was raised in Ramona and during his childhood years he formed a passion for playing music and singing. His senior year of high school he was selected as Drum Major. Kendall graduated from Caney Valley High School in 1994. He was united in marriage with Kerri Collins and they brought three boys into their lives: Kollin, Kasen and Kaydon. Kendall and Kerri were together for 21 years. In the last several years Kendall was a manager at local restaurants including Braum’s and Sonic. Through mutual friends he met Saul Ibarra. They dated for a few years before tying the love knot on March 13, 2021. Kendall was active in his boys’ lives and enjoyed attending their school sporting activities. He loved to cook and bake. His strawberry cheesecake and snicker doodle cookies were the boys’ favorites. Kendall stood out as a little different when at family functions, being the only loyal and true OSU fan in a sea of OU red, but some how they managed to make it work. Together with Saul, they liked searching out new restaurants to try and cooking for family and friends at home. Kendall loved to travel. Memorable trips included Cancun, Disney World, Orange Beach in Alabama and most recently a special trip to Mexico to visit Saul’s family. Kendall loved the Lord and his church family at Disciples Christian Church. He will be dearly missed. Kendall is survived by his husband Saul; sons, Kollin, Kasen and Kaydon; parents, Lealon and Edith Francis; siblings, Deryl (Janean) Francis, and Leasa Marshall; and a host of other family and friends. He is preceded in death by his grandparents. Kendall’s family will receive friends on Sunday, from 3-5 p.m., at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville. Visitation will also be held on Sunday from 12-5 and Monday 9-1. Services will be held on Monday, at 2 p.m., at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel. Interment will be in the Ramona Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
