Louis Corben "LC" Ele Jr

Louis Corben Ele Jr., known by everyone as LC, was born on December 30, 1957, in Torrance, California. He passed away on June 2, 2023, of a heart attack. He was loved and will be missed by his family and friends. LC loved to go fishing, hunting, camping and cooking out every chance he could with his family and friends. LC loved to watch John Wayne. If he could, he would watch John Wayne movies from the moment he woke up until the moment he went to sleep. John Wayne once said: “I have tried to live my life so that my family would love me and my friends respect me. The others can do whatever the hell they please.” This quote was how LC lived his life. There are many memories of him and they will be in our hearts along with the love he showed all of us. You couldn’t have asked for a better son, father, husband, brother, uncle, cousin, papa and great grandpa. LC was survived by his wife Edda Ele; four daughters, Yvanne Welton, Christina (Welton) and husband David McFarland, Tammie Ele, and Nancy (Ele) and husband Michael Magee; 6 grandsons, Nicholas Sagel, David Saunders, Matheu Saunders, Marcus Saunders, Anthony Ele, and Caleb (Ele) Monroe; 4 granddaughters Kaitlyn Phillips, Kymberly Phillips, Jasmine (Welton) and husband Cody Bolin, and Kayla Ellyson; and 1 great grand son Rylan Bolin. He is also survived by 4 brothers, Anthony Hubble and wife Donna, Dale Hubble, Chester Ele and wife Elizabeth, and Larry Ele and wife Sandra; 3 sisters, Edna (Ele) Thomas, Freda (Ele) and husband Carl Hobart, and Charlotte (Ele) and husband David Hughes; along with several nieces, nephews and friends. LC was preceded in death by his first wife Adeline Ele, son Louis Ele III, parents Louis Corben Ele Sr. and Violet Lucille Ele, brother William Hubble, niece Carol (Thomas) Chastain, and brother in law Charles Thomas. LC, we love you and you will be greatly missed. May you rest in peace. Visitation will be held on Thursday, from 10 a.m. -8 p.m., at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Rd., Bartlesville, OK 74006. Graveside service will be held on Friday, at 11 a.m. at Dewey Cemetery, with Philip Norris officiating. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
