Margaret Louise Plank

Margaret Louise Plank, 77, of Bartlesville, loving wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother, passed away on Wednesday, September 28, 2022. Margaret Louise Marshall was born January 1, 1945, in Bartlesville, to John Louis and Mary Jane (Cornejo) Marshall. Margaret grew up on 10th Street. She attended elementary school at St. John’s Catholic School in Bartlesville and then moved to Central Middle School and later Bartlesville Col-Hi. She met the love of her life, Steven Ray Plank, in their middle school years, when Steve was playing guitar at a party. They fell head-over-heels in love. The high school sweethearts married and to this union two children were born, Rick and Suzanne. Steve preceded her in death on December 8, 2017. When her children were younger, Margaret was always the home room mom and the neighborhood mom. Rick and Suzanne said the kids flocked to their house and Margaret would feed them all. She led by example and was a wonderful role model. Margaret was a loving mother and grandmother. She enjoyed spoiling her grandchildren with gifts and love. They never left her house empty-handed. Margaret enjoyed traveling with a group of her friends. Some of her favorite destinations include Tulum, Mexico, and Playa del Carmen, Mexico. She also enjoyed gardening, especially her flower garden. She loved her cats. There was more than meets the eye with Margaret. Her taste in music was contemporary and eclectic. She was loved deeply and will be missed. Survivors include her two children, Rick Plank and his wife Martina, and Suzanne Keene and her husband David; a brother, Robert Ray Marshall; five grandchildren, Hayden Adcock and his wife Britnee, Grace Keene, Charlotte Plank, Maximilian Plank, and Scarlett Plank; and a great-grandson, Lawyer Ray Adcock. In addition to her parents and husband, Margaret was preceded in death by a brother, David “Buddy” Marshall; and a sister, Mary Helen Lowen. Margaret’s family will receive friends at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville, on Friday, September 30, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. Visitation will also be held on Friday from 10-8. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. October 1, 2022, with Reverend Ike Amaro officiating. Interment will follow in the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville.
