Marilyn "Molly" Elizabeth Lucas

Marilyn “Molly” Elizabeth Lucas, 74, of Bartlesville joined our Lord and Savior on November 3, 2021. Molly was born to Edward and Myrtle (Mosher) Deason in Winfield, Kansas on December 3, 1946. At a young age, her family relocated to Bartlesville where she graduated with the College High Class of 1964. In later years the family established membership with Oak Park Baptist Church where she served as the church librarian. On December 20, 1980, Molly married the love of her life, Joe Edley Lucas. Upon marriage, the family moved to the country and became members of New Harmony Baptist Church. Molly worked for Phillips Petroleum Company for over 25 years before returning to college to pursue her passion – Psychology. She graduated with a Masters’ Degree in Psychology. She worked with Youth and Family Services, Family Crisis and Counseling, and with the Child Advocacy Center. Upon retirement, she enjoyed attending auctions and reselling items in several antique stores. She was also a past member of the Bartlesville Pilot Club. Molly is survived by her husband Joe, of the home, daughter Melanie Lucas of the home, stepsons Ben and wife Shari Lucas, and Jim and wife Lisa Lucas of Melissa, TX. Grandchildren include: Lacie Wood & husband Taylor, Lynzi Prince & husband Christian, Cole, Clay, Christian & Isabella "Izzy" Lucas, Caitlin Trahan and husband Tyler, Britney West & husband Matt, Heather Grabenstein & husband Justin, Ashley Eickenhorst & husband Brian, Amanda Kelm & husband Dustin, Nick Lucas & wife Mackenzie, ten great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews and great-nieces, and great-nephews, and special family friend Barbara Turner. She is also survived by her beloved dog Ellie the Shichi mix. In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to ARF (Animal Rescue Foundation), 399519 US HWY 60, Bartlesville, OK 74006. Services will be held 2 p.m. on Monday, November 8th, at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 4201 Nowata, Rd., Bartlesville, OK 74006.
