Randall "Randy" Paul Postrach

Randall “Randy” Paul Postrach, 68, of Dewey, passed away on Tuesday, November 28, 2023, just four days shy of a year after his beloved wife Darlynn. Randy was born October 17, 1955, in Bartlesville, to Charles Postrach and Bessie (Bennett) Boatright. He was primarily raised by his grandparents, Elmer and Bonnie Bennett. He graduated in 1973 from Bartlesville and attended trade school at Tri County Technology Center for training in Sheet Metal. He also did sheet metal and crafted metal Christmas trees for display at Price Tower. Randy met the love of his life Darlynn at SPI Heat and Air, where he and Darlynn were both working. The couple married on April 14, 1989, and they moved to Dewey in 1995. Randy adored his grandchildren and was very present in their lives. Randy liked going to garage sales, flea markets, and antique stores, always searching for treasures. He always looked forward to participating in the Dewey Antique Show and Sale at the Dewey Fairgrounds. Randy and Darlynn enjoyed traveling to Arkansas, Eureka Springs, and Branson. He loved the University of Oklahoma football. Go Sooners! Randy is survived by his children, Amber Gastel and husband Brad, Joey Rogers and wife Sondra; his mother-in-law, Wanda Catlin; a brother, Richard Postrach and wife Mitzi; seven grandchildren, Addison, Gracie, Layne, Kenidi, Jared, Maci and Case. He was preceded in death by his parents, Charles Postrach and Bessie Boatright; wife, Darlynn (Catlin) Postrach; his stepfather, Bill Boatright; father-in-law, Bert “Podge” Catlin and grandson, Lathe Gastel. Randy’s family will receive friends on Wednesday, December 6, 2023, from 6-8 p.m. at the Davis Family Funeral Home – Dewey Chapel, 918-534-3030, 113 S. Osage Ave (Hwy. 75), Dewey. Visitation will also be held from 10-8 Wednesday and 10-12 Thursday. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Thursday, December 7, 2023, at the Dewey First Baptist Church with Pastor Mark Wright officiating. Interment will follow at the Dewey Cemetery.
