Mr. Terry Wayne Wills

Terry Wayne Wills, 73, of Bartlesville, passed away Tuesday August 19, 2014 in Bartlesville. Terry was born the son of Clifford Everett and Velma Louise (Johnson) Wills on November 1, 1940, in El Dorado, KS. As an infant he moved with his mother to Bartlesville and was raised by his stepfather Burl Oscar Estes Sr. Terry attended Bartlesville schools, and after his schooling he worked with his older brother as a painter until he started his career with TRW Reda Pump. He retired from Schlumberger after 30 plus years of service as a machinist. Terry was a son of the American Legion Post 105. He also was a member for more than 20 years with New Horizons Church. He spent many hours at the Washington County Adult Center playing pool and visiting with his many friends. He enjoyed fishing and playing bingo at the American Legion and Eagles Club. Terry had many dogs over the years and he leaves behind his two Chihuahua pups which he loved dearly. He enjoyed mowing, working on lawn mowers in his free time, and often mowed the church lawn. He was known for his love of rollercoasters and waterslides, and oftentimes in his younger days Terry would use unconventional modes of transportation to reach various amusement parks. He will be dearly missed. Terry is survived by his one daughter Brenda Wilson and Jay of Dewey; four grandchildren Brandon, Valerie, Jami and Steven Wilson of Dewey; one great grandchildren: one brother Burl Oscar Estes II of Dewey; one sister Frances Louise Sanders and Ron of Dewey; one stepsister Lisa Smith of Bartlesville; two sisters-in- law Darlene Estes of Edmond, and Mary Fern Estes of Oklahoma City; two special friends Bobby and Jan Rosko; two uncles William Holcomb of Wichita, KS and Robert Johnson of Denver, CO; one aunt Frances Eastman of Wichita Kansas; and lots of nieces and nephews and his church family. He is preceded in death by his parents, stepfather, two brothers Kenneth Eugene Estes and Jimmie Burl Estes, and one sister Patricia Joan Bryan. Funeral services will be held 11 a.m. on Saturday, August 23, 2014, at New Horizons New Life Pentecostal Holiness Church in Bartlesville, with Rev. Connie McCray officiating. Viewing will be held on Friday from 9am-8pm. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home.
