Bobby Lee Gaylord, 70, of Bartlesville, passed away on Saturday, March 26, 2022. Bobby was born on January 13, 1952, in Blackwell, OK, to Kenneth Leon and JoAnn Irene (Ryan) Gaylord. Bobby attended schools in Blackwell and Collinsville, OK. In 1970, Bobby moved to Bartlesville and began a lifelong career in the retail food business, usually working for Bill Bowersock at Bill’s Grocery. Nothing in life made Bobby prouder than his two girls, watching them grow and succeed in life. Bobby also loved to talk to and about his grandbabies and how much he was always amazed by what they knew. Bobby’s one passion in life was his devout love for Sooner football. Win or lose, they were still by far the best of the best to him. In 2017, Bobby finally found his soulmate for this earthly life, Gloria Bearden Brown. He and Gloria spent the past four years with each other, living life and enjoying each other’s company to its fullest. Gloria made him the person he always wanted to be and for that he loved her with all he had. In this life, Bobby left behind his soulmate, Gloria, of the home; two daughters, DeAnna Kay Thorn of Duncan, OK, Amy Jo Fesler and her husband David of Bartlesville; four grandchildren, Ashley Don Thorn-Mason and her husband Quinten of Duncan, OK, John Harrison Thorn and his wife Natalie of Duncan, Kinsey Rae Gray and her fiancée Noah Bass of Stillwater, OK, and Jayme Michelle Gray of Bartlesville; five great-grandchildren, Harlee Rhiannon Thorn-Maddox of Duncan, Hadlie Marlie Thorn of Duncan, John “Jet” Edon Thorn of Duncan, Draven Jabrill Thorn of Duncan, Karisyn Mae Bass of Stillwater; two brothers, Larry Dewayne and his wife Susan Gaylord of Huntsville, TX, and Jimmy Dean Gaylord of Savanburg, KS; and sister, Cindy Briley of Bartlesville. Bobby was preceded in death by his parents and a brother, Gary Wayne Gaylord. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. on Friday, April 1, 2022, at Northpoint Assembly of God, with Rev. Larry Gaylord officiating. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
