Courtney Mattox-Overcashier passed away Wednesday, October 21, 2015. Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Monday, October 26, 2015 in the Walker-Brown Funeral Home Chapel with Reverend Wayne Peace officiating. A graveside service will be held at 2:00 p.m. in the Mound Valley Cemetery, Mound Valley, KS. Arrangements are under the direction of Walker-Brown Funeral Home. Courtney Nichole Mattox-Overcashier was born August 6, 1992 in Bartlesville to Michael and Tammy (Storey) Mattox. Courtney was a homemaker who enjoyed sewing, cooking, crocheting and reading along with being outdoors with animals, camping and fishing. Courtney is survived by her husband, Toby Overcashier of Ramona and step-daughter, Summer Overcashier. Mother, Tammy and husband Shane Devine of Waynoka, OK, father, Mike Mattox and wife Melissa of Copan. Two sisters; Cari Mattox and Caydence Devine of Waynoka, brother, Billy Devine of Waynoka, three step-brothers; Austin Waltrip, Aydenn Waltrip, Dawson Fullbright along with two step-sisters; Autumn Veuleman and Alyson Waltrip. Also surviving is her maternal grandparents, Barbara and Kenny Buttman, grandparents Max and wife Von Devine, paternal grandmother, Dona Schafer and great-grandmother, Barbara Mattox. Courtney was preceded in death by her maternal grandfather, Clint Storey, paternal grandfather, Stanley Mattox, paternal great-grandfather, Bobbie Joe Mattox, paternal great-grandparents, Floyd Schafer and wife Betty, maternal great-grandparents, George Paugh and wife Virginia and maternal uncle, Clint Storey. Casket Bearers will be: Travis Murray, Billy Schaffer, Stephen Whitehead, Toby Overcashier, Billy Miller, Tony Whitehead and Honorary - James Stilley.
