Darla Jo Cline

June 12, 1953 - March 21, 2022

Darla Jo Cline, 68, of Copan, passed away on March 21, 2022, in Bartlesville, joining her beloved husband, Chuck Cline, in heaven. Darla was born June 12, 1953, in Tulsa, OK, to Earl Ballinger and Martha (Weabe) Ballinger. She is a 1971 graduate of Copan High School. Darla married Chuck Cline on July 28, 1979, and they made their home in Tulsa, where she resided until Chuck passed away. Since that time, she has lived in Copan for the last eight years. Darla was employed with Neighbor News for many years, and her favorite pastime was watching basketball and softball. She was a fan of Oklahoma City Thunder. Most of all, Darla dearly loved her granddaughters, Caitlin Carlock and Kiley Edmunds, and her great-grandson, Brayden. She is also survived by her daughter, Cathy Cline; sister, Sheila Waits; two nephews, Bryon Waits and his wife Holly, and Patrick Waits and his wife Jessica; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews. Darla was loved and will be dearly missed. In addition to her parents, Darla was preceded in death by her husband, Chuck Cline, and her brother, Earl Eugene Ballinger. Memorial services will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, March 25, 2022, at the Davis Family Funeral Home – Dewey Chapel, with Darla’s nephew Bryon Waits officiating.
