Larry Lee Stamp, 55, longtime area resident, passed away July 14, 2020. Larry was born July 13, 1965, in Denver, CO, to Ronald Lee and Pearley Ann (Kirkendall) Stamp. At a young age Larry’s family relocated to Copan, OK, where his father was employed at the historic Mullendore Cross Bell Ranch alongside other family members. Larry would later graduate from Copan High School in 1983. All of his adult life, Larry lived in Osage County where he raised various kinds of animals on his land. Over the years, he was employed at Murphy’s Steak House when he was younger, then at the Jencast Foundry in South Coffeyville for over 20 years, Dave Scott Concrete, and later in manufacturing with Whirlpool. In his free time, Larry enjoyed fishing and camping with friends and family, as well as attending auctions where he would purchase any items that he found interesting. He later cared for his parents in their home before they passed. Larry was preceded in death by his parents Ronald and Pearley Stamp. He is survived by his brother John Stamp and wife Wendy of Broken Arrow, OK; sister Colleen Hurst and husband Shawn of Bartlesville, OK; nephew Keaton and niece Sierra Stamp of Broken Arrow; uncle Allen Kirkendall of Copan; two aunts Mayme Kirkendall of Bartlesville and Janet Kennedy of Bartlesville; as well as numerous other cousins and family members.
