Amy Jo Hailey Amy Jo Hailey, 35, of Bartlesville, died Tuesday, November 7, 2023, in Tulsa. Amy was born on June 6, 1988, in Tulsa, to Christopher and Mary Jo (Fisher) Hailey. She was raised in Barnsdall and enjoyed playing softball. Amy excelled at softball and played competitive fast pitch with the Blazers. She loved the outdoors and developed a passion for fishing at a young age. The family moved to Bartlesville when she was fourteen. Through family Amy met Dale Virden and they have been a couple for the past fourteen years. They enjoyed watching movies and collecting antiques together, always on the look for something special or a good fishing hole. For the past several years she has enjoyed her work-from-home career in insurance while pursuing a degree in Cyber Security. Amy had a dream of some day opening a bait shop. With the help of her kids, she was actively working her Worm Farm, a collection of various types of worms used for fishing. A good estimate would be close to 3,000 worms that Amy and the kids were raising. Amy enjoyed decorating for the holidays when she wasn’t outside with the kids playing in the dirt. Amy loved her family wholeheartedly. Whatever activity they were into she was also 100 percent involved in it as well. She has been described as the most fun and best mom the kids could have asked for. She loved everyone, and they loved her back. Amy Jo will be dearly missed. Amy is survived by her parents, Christopher and Mary Jo Hailey; Husband, Dale Virden; children, Kaylin Harbour, Ruger Virden, Ryland Virden, Colten Virden, Hogan Virden, Stepchildren; Courtney Lowe and Hailey Dozier; siblings, Amber Sanders, Tyler Sanders, Brayden Hailey, Austin Hailey, and Sheridan Hailey; and was a good nana to, Kycen, Jace, Tagen. Connor, Nellie and Tandy. Multiple Aunts and Uncles, nieces and nephews, and lots of cousins all whom she loved and loved her in return. Proceeded in Death Both Paternal and Material Grandmothers; Kay Serl and Hazel Fisher. And nephew Zachery Barnes Services will be held on Tuesday November 21st, at 2 p.m., at Humble Road Church. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
