Aubree ShyAnn Nicholas

Aubree ShyAnn Nicholas, 22, of Bartlesville, entered into the Father’s presence Tuesday, December 12, 2023, surrounded by her loving family. Aubree was born September 24, 2001, in Tulsa, OK, to her loving parents William and Jana (Owens) Standlea. Aubree was raised in the Dewey area and attended Dewey Public Schools. She participated in Special Olympics and a few of her events were shot put and long jump. She made a lifetime friend while at school, Karen, her favorite aide. They remained best friends and Aubree loved Karen’s husband, Dan the Man, as much as Karen does. Aubree never met a stranger and she loved everyone. She hoped one day to get a job at Pumpin’ Pete’s, just like her Granny. Aubree was bound and determined to meet a fat man to be her boyfriend and to get a million dollars. She loved Dr. Pepper, chips and music. She was active and was usually singing, dancing or eating her favorite foods. When she sang, she clapped to the beat until the song was over then she brushed her hands and said she was done. Her favorite movie was “Grease” and she wore out several copies and probably a few DVD players. “Barney” was also a show she could watch over and over. Most of all she kept everyone smiling and laughing. Our loss is heaven’s gain. We love you, Aubree! Aubree is survived by her parents, William and Jana (Owens) Standlea; Granny Carolyn Owens; maternal grandpa, James and Tammy Owens; paternal grandparents, Rod and Pat Nicholas and Carl and Nancy Standlea; and paternal grandma, Cherry Rogers; stepparents, Elizabeth and Dale Harper; siblings, Gabriele Bray, Makayla Nicholas and Fallyn Nicholas; her only nephew, Noah Bray; uncle, James and Kelly Owens; aunt and uncle, Christal and Bill Green, and aunt Chay; and a host of other family and friends too numerous to list each and every one. She is preceded in death by her twin brother, Aaron Nicholas, her cousin Daniel Shaffer and numerous family members. Aubree’s family will receive friends on Monday, from 6-8 p.m. at the Davis Family Funeral Home – Dewey Chapel, 918-534-3030, 113 S. Osage (Hwy. 75), Dewey. Visitation will also be held on Monday from 10-8 and Tuesday 9-11. Services will be held 2 p.m. on Tuesday, at the Dewey Church of Christ. Interment will follow in the Dewey Cemetery.
