Kylee Maelynn O'neal

Kylee Maelynn O’Neal, 18, of Bartlesville, Oklahoma, went peacefully into the arms of Jesus, surrounded by her family on July 15th, 2026. Kylee was born on Sept 16th, 2007 on the island of Guam, to Destiny D. (Phyle) O’Neal and Christopher J. O’Neal. Being a micro-premie of 24 weeks, she and her parents were flown by Medivac to Kadena Air Force hospital in Okinawa, Japan. Three weeks later, they were transferred to Tripler Army Medical Center in Honolulu, Hawaii, where they spent the next several months until transferring to Seattle Childrens hospital where her father was stationed in the Navy. While they were at Tripler Hospital, Kylee developed N.E.C. and was placed on IV TPN nutrition, on which she depended her whole life. Despite all of her hospitalizations and lifelong TPN dependency, she was always smiling, never knew a stranger, and often told the doctors what to do. In 2020, Kylee moved from Seattle, WA, to Bartlesville, OK, with her mother, step-father Greyson, her dog Sadie, two cats, Bella and Eggs, to be closer to her family. Kylee leaves behind a family who loved every moment they had with her and will forever carry her memory in their hearts. She is survived by her mother, Destiny Phyle O’Neal. Grandparents: Ben and Cinde Beeman and Becky Stapleton. Great-grandmother: Mae Thompson. Uncles: Lonny Milless, John (Ann) Brashear, Kyle (Whitney) Beeman, Logan Stapleton. Cousins: Marissa, Michael, Kit and Campbell. Her father: Christopher (Kim) O’Neal. Grandparents: Morris and Linda O’Neal and Shirley Bland. Uncle Shane (Kasey) O’Neal and Aunt Crystal Garza. Her favorite Nurses: Ali, JoAnn, Megan and Vicki, along with many extended family members, friends, and countless people whose lives she touched with her kind heart and beautiful smile. She was preceded in death by her step-father, Greyson Brantley; grandfather, Jeffrey Phyle; uncle, Todd Phyle; great-grandfathers, Allen Thompson and Bob Pullum and great-grandmother, Liz Pullum; and her beloved dog, Sadie.
