Robin Lynn Witt

Robin Lynn Witt, 39, of Dewey, passed away May 18, 2022, at her home. Robin was born July 4, 1982, in Las Vegas, Nevada, to Robert R. Spaw Sr. and Sherri (Chiseck) Spaw. Robin’s father was in the Air Force and their family moved around as his bases changed. They returned to Dewey in 1995 and Robin graduated from Dewey High School in 2000. Robin married the love of her life, Joseph A. Witt, on July 13, 2002. Joseph was in the Marine Corps for the first few years of their marriage, and while he was serving in Iraq, Robin lived in California. They returned to Dewey in 2004 and raised their family there. Her life revolved around her family. She was a mom, first and foremost, and was very involved in the children’s lives. In addition to their own children, Robin and Joseph opened their home as foster parents. Robin’s hobbies included crocheting and arts and crafts. She also enjoyed working in her yard. Robin was employed with Stride Bank for several years. She was a member of the Dewey First Baptist Church for more than 12 years. Robin and Joseph traveled all over the state of Idaho doing missions work, conducting Bible studies and helping with construction projects on churches. Robin’s missions focus was the children. Robin’s survivors include her loving husband, Joseph A. Witt, of Dewey; her father, Robert R. Spaw Sr., of Dewey; her five children, Devon Witt and his wife Cheyenne, Tayllore Witt, Kamdyn Witt, Jordyn Witt, and Koltyn Witt, all of Dewey; a brother, Robert R. Spaw Jr., and his wife, Aranda, of Bartlesville; a niece, Emilee Spaw, of Bartlesville; two grandchildren, Kenslee Witt and Malachi Witt, both of Dewey. Robin’s family will receive friends at the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 918-333-7665, 4201 Nowata Rd, Bartlesville, on Monday, May 23, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. Come and go visitation will be held from 10-8 Monday. Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Tuesday, May 24, at the Dewey First Baptist Church. Interment will follow in the Dewey Cemetery. Services are under the direction of Carter Davis and the Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel.
