Thomas Nathan Patton

Thomas “Tommy” Nathan Patton, 61, of Bartlesville, passed away on Tuesday, January 30, 2024. Tommy was born November 11, 1962, in Nowata, OK, to Roy Joe Patton Sr. and Sara Jo (Carter) Patton. He played football during his high school years at Moundridge High School in Moundridge, KS. Early on he worked as a roofer and eventually at a refinery in McPherson, KS. He eventually came to love remodeling and took pride in his work. He met the love of his life, Lillie Mae Holtmeier, while on a blind date during a blizzard. While trying to drive up a hill in slick road conditions to meet her and holding his door shut on his car, Lillie was impressed with his determination to get to her. The couple married on February 11, 2023. She was the best thing that ever happened to him and changed his life for the better. Tommy enjoyed spending time spoiling his grandchildren. Some of their favorite activities included barbecuing, camping, and making smores. He enjoyed sitting around the bonfire. He was a big Kansas City Chiefs and Oklahoma Sooners fan. He wrote and enjoyed playing music on his guitar. Tommy is survived by his beloved wife, Lillie; his eight children, Josh Stewart, Travis Slavin, Marissa Kelly and husband Matt, Tommy Lee Patton, Toby Walsh, Christopher Walsh, Ashley Romo and husband Marco, and Shayna Johnson and husband Jonathan; a sister, Carolyn Wickham and husband Don; three brothers, David Patton and wife Sue, Roger Patton and wife Judy, Roy Patton Jr. and wife Elissa; ten grandchildren, Nallah, Austin, Denver, Marco Jr., Geovonie, Lorenzo, Trenton, Madilyn, Bentley, and Acelynn. He was preceded in death by his parents, Sara and Roy Patton; a son, Eric Patton; a brother, Carl Patton; and a nephew, Kevin Patton. Tommy’s family will receive friends from 2-4 p.m. Thursday, February 8, at Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel, 4201 Nowata Road, Bartlesville, OK 74006, 918-333-7665. Visitation will also be held from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. that same day. A memorial service will be held at 2 p.m. Friday, February 9, at Davis Family Funeral Home & Crematory – Walker Brown Chapel with Brent Fluegel officiating.
